Mr. Napier, the founder of the firm, was born in West Palm Beach, Florida and grew up in Grand Island, Nebraska and Riverside, California. In 1967, he graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in education. He received his Juris Doctorate from ASU in 1970.
Mr. Napier is well known for his strong commitment to and relationship with the Arizona law enforcement community. Mr. Napier has made a career out of standing on the front line for law enforcement, ensuring that officers are treated fairly and with respect.
This ongoing relationship began in 1975 when the fledgling Phoenix Law Enforcement Association retained his services. From that time forward, Mr. Napier has represented thousands of law enforcement officers and other public-sector employees in just about every aspect of their professional and personal lives. This representation includes wrongful death, personal injury, salary/benefits negotiations, grievance hearings, pre/post termination litigation, union operations and labor/management relations.
Mr. Napier is a member of the Arizona Trial Lawyers’ Association, The Top 100 Trial Lawyers, America’s Top 100 Attorneys and Arizona’s Finest Lawyers. He has served as a Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Pro Tem for civil and family law. He has been a Racing Commissioner and member of the Arizona Board of Dental Examiners.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Napier has served on the boards of many charitable organizations, including the Arizona Humane Society, the National and Arizona Horsemen Protective and Benevolent Associations, Second Call Foundation, Friends of Animal Care and Control, Maricopa Community College Charities, Arizona Animal Welfare League, YMCA, and Gompers.
